This clan of the Mollica family originated in Sant'ilario dello Ionio, Italy. Three of Domenico's sons immigrated to the United States in the late 1800s. Rosario and Francesco settled in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania, and Giuseppe went to New Mexico.
